Vienna Nightrow 2016

The 6th Vienna Nightrow will take place on 25.6.2016 at the Leistungszentrum Neue Donau.
 
The Vienna Nightrow is an international sprint regatta which is performed on the last weekend in June. From afternoon to night Vienna will sight of an extraordinary outdoor events: a distance of 350 meters is a rowing tournament going in 3 runways across the stage. The final race will be held in the dark - the lighting is done by mobile floodlights.
 
It is rowed in eight boats in the classes of men, women, juniors, juniors and mixed. Also at University Race men's and women's teams will be at the start. Last year reached the official men's rowing team at the University of Vienna the 3rd place behind the strong teams of the University of Aachen and the international top team of the University of Cambridge.
 
Even the women's rowing team from the University of Vienna came into the finals and took a sensational 2nd place behind the team of the University of Hamburg and the University of Zurich. This year the victory is the goal of this two ambitious teams!
